Working with great composers of his generation he has amassed a formidable collection of stunning new works by William Neil, David Kechley, Marilyn Shrude, Andrew York, David Leisner and many others. These masterpieces written for guitar with various instruments are sadly not well known or performed enough. This website can hopefully be a portal for those guitarists hoping to find these treasures along with a way to acquire the recordings and the scores. Robert has been performing as the Ryoanji Duo (saxophone and guitar), Duo Sureño (soprano and guitar) and the North Carolina Guitar Quartet since the mid-1990s. Many of these works have been written for these particular ensembles.
